Happenings of my Life off late

Wow, it's really been some time since I last updated my blog. So many things have been happening and I'm just so lost.

After putting on hold my dental appointment for close to 2 and a half years, I finally took courage and dragged myself to the dentist. To my horror I have too many holes that the Dr said, " a young girl with an old lady's teeth!". He actually made fun but he was darn serious about me having so many holes in my tooth. So there he went drilling out one by one. He made two filling the same day and then said, " the rest of the holes are still small. You come back when you are free and we shall mend them gradually. No hurry." I thanked God at that point of time thinking, " Yeah right! The next appointment is definately going to be 3 years time!!!". Guess God was on the doctor's side. While flossing my tooth a week later, my old filling came out. So scared and nerverse I went back to the dental. The doctor then refilled my filling and then drilled and filled 4 more big holes!. And now he tells me I have very sensitive tooth. And one of my front tooth can't be filled anymore. I have to do root canalling. Only God knows what is that. Anyway the dentist said that it's not such an urgent problem for now. I've decided that no matter how scared I am of my dental doctors, I'm going to make it a point to visit the dentist every month just to check because I don't want to go into any trouble as I believe I've got beautiful set of teeth. Furthermore, it's free as my company pays for it.

Besides the painfull experiance of Dental visits, my Thumdrive crashed on me. I've lost all of my documents both personal and work. So lost without them. God knows how I'm going to revive half the things I've saved in that.

FRIDAY .... PART 2

I’m sure many of you can’t take the suspense anymore to know what happened in BISIK. Anyway I reached BISIK about 9.20pm and there I was staring at that open restaurant crowded with people. BISIK is actually an open live band restaurant with a small bar inside. It was so crowded that one minute I thought I was really lost. Suddenly I saw Vadai waving his hands towards me from inside. “Ahhhhhhhh there they are!!!” I thought to myself and made my way towards the crowded room. When I reached there I hugged Vadai and handed him the wine bottle I got him and told him that the chocolates were for his cute little son. Just then Chris came my way and hugged me. Damn I did not get her anything at all… well just wished her happy birthday too and decided to get her something later and pass it to Vadai.

I settled down and then I was introduced to the crowd. I remember Kalai and Kavitha. Kalai could roughly recognize me but no one else. Then Beemboy came by and he could not believe it was me after all!!!! It was just so weird and funny to be recognized in such an extraordinary way. Kavitha is a damn good looking girl. Was just talking to her as I did not know many people there. It was just so cool that Kalai and Beemboy actually spoke to me more than just a mere Hello! “Gosh I must have really looked stunningly different for these guys to talk to me”, was this perasan voice deep in my head!

Shortly later I met Tony, one of Vadai’s close friends whom I knew from last year. It was truly good to meet him again. I could see his reaction towards me was different too. Well I had so much fun actually. The two memories I will not forget among it all will be firstly finally meeting some of the chatters of a particular chat room and also meeting Scudder.

There is this one particular chat room I use to surf under MIRC. I go in with the nick Geisha Gal. The thing that would leave a memory to me is the reaction of the chatters when Vadai told them who I was!! You see I don’t blame them because they all think I’m a 55 year old lawyer, who’s married with 2 kids and 4 grandchildren. Heheh the reaction was so cute. As for the meeting of Scudder, well I did not know it was him initially, so I went up to him and asked him, “Hey there, do you by any chance have a cousin in ??? (My taman area)?” And his reaction was puzzled. He then showed his hands towards a young girl and replied, “That’s my fiancée there”. I was blurring at one point and just smiled and left him alone. Later I asked Vadai if Scudder was coming and he actually brought the same joker and introduce me as Scudder. Gosh, that guy thought that was my pick up line for him initially and that’s why he quickly confessed of being engaged. That doink!

Anyway it was so sweet for Kalai to walk me back to Corus after that. Very cheekily he asked me if I wanted to go out to have a drink and also asked me if I needed company… I just replied him, “if I need company I know you’re just a ring away” and he smiled.

I reached Corus almost 3am and slept till 9am. After that got up and went to work. Of course I could not work much and hence left home early. The minute I reached home I just dozed off till the next morning! Gosh I was sloshed. Wonder what would have happened if they had served wine!?....................................................

Anyway heard from Vadai that Eddy boy (another guy) was asking about me… Cool and cute…. This is all definitely more motivation to shred the fats away……………………………………….

Friday Part One

It’s been 3 days since Friday passed and I’ve been trying to get the right words to write about my BISIK experience and here I am still wondering how to blog the whole thing. Anyway 2 months ago as many of you would know, a friend sms’d me and asked me to keep 30th of March free to celebrate his birthday. Though I’ve been indecisive of whether I should go or not, I finally decided to go before I get a kick in my bum for I’ve been given not two weeks but two months notice.

Normally when there’s a BISIK gathering it always ends up to be fun BUT to enjoy that fun you really got to be there till late nights which I always miss. Normally I’m in BISIK sharp 7 and I leave by 8.30. This time I decided to be there to enjoy the whole thing. So I made my friend book a room for me under his name (for security purpose) but of course I paid for it. I stayed at Corus hotel which is just 3 doors away from BISIK and 1 door away from Avenue K KLCC...

Question! How did I manage to stay out? Well since I was given 2 months notice, I planned it all so well that Dewan Parliment and Dewan Rakyat (My Parents) agree on my staying out. SO what did I say? Well I simply told them my friend Anita was throwing a barbeque dinner in her house to celebrate her birthday before she leaves to Melbourne and that did it. Anyway I felt bad using Anita’s name but HEY! It’s all in the game of having too strict parents. Anyway I love them no matter how strict they are and I’d never say I’m a perfect daughter!

Well back to BISIK!!! I left home at 10.00am and reached Chorus by 11.10am. Met my friend and he managed to help me with the registration. Well since I was there too early I had to wait for the room. About 1.30pm they gave me the room. Just when I wanted to jump into bed and sleep a little while a rascal friend decided to call and ask me where was I because he saw my brother somewhere in KLCC. One minute I panicked thinking I was found out by my parents but then just kept cool. Told my friend I was out with friends shopping and he decided why not we meet for lunch. Since it’s been a long time since I met that nut, thought it would be a good idea. Anyway my tummy was already hungry. So I met him at Burger King. I ate while he watched and as usual he was giving me lectures but surprisingly this time it wasn’t about my weight but it was more of my hair. He said I really looked like a dog poodle because he hates women with long straight hair. Anyway I only had one thing to tell him… “at least I’m not blond or red haired!!”. He just stared back at me because he knew darn well I was hitting him back about his older gf’s hair whom he’s dating now.

After lunch we followed me to Cold Storage to get my birthday friend something. We ended up buying him a bottle of wine. Just hope he liked it. Anyway after that I met Kamal (another old friend) for a dinner. Since being on diet I made a point to have dinner before 7. I went to the bakery in KLCC. It was good. Kamal commented about my attire to BISIK and he said “Rock the night away baby!” . He was definitely cute. After dinner about 9.15pm, Kamal dropped me at BISIK. And………………………………….. part two talks about that all…………………
